Hello friends and welcome to our website. Since 1998, we at Japatul Labradors have striven to produce quality, sound dogs to meet anyone's need. We are a small family hobbyist, not a puppy mill. We occasionally have litters throughout the year. Our goal is to improve the Labrador breed, not to make money.
Our Labradors are English style with dual purpose pedigrees. We are dedicated to the development of the all-purpose Labrador Retriever. They are bred for show, hunt or companion, concentrating on conformation, working ability and temperament
All or our dogs are part of our family. They are very well socialized with people and other dogs. All of our dogs are obedience trained and played with daily by myself, my husband or our children. Each dog has been OFA, OFEL certified and eyes cleared through CERF before breeding.
Our puppies are handled from day one and are very well socialized with people, especially children. They have been dewormed and immunizations have been started. Each pup has been Micro-Chipped and Vet checked by a licensed Veterinarian and have had their dewclaws removed.
NOTE: All puppies are sold on limited registration or co-ownership. (We want our puppies to go to loving pet homes only. No breeding rights are giving with limited registration. With co-ownership, all breeding's must be approved for quality purposes.) We do not sell puppies over the Internet. A phone interview is required before being placed on our waiting list. We will not place puppies with those who live in apartments or condos, unless you have your own private yard. We believe Labradors need space.

We are located in Northern California, 2 hours North of Sacramento. We will ship puppies within the U.S.
