Gatsby will be available for a new home around June 2020. I will have several of his offspring so it will be time to offer him up for either another breeder who wants a quality male with a great retrieve drive and amazing health clearances to sire their very own litters, or for someones personal gun dog. Gatsby has a JH title and truly loves retrieving and swimming. For more information On Gatsby, click his picture. His pricing will depend on whether he will be used as a sire or if he will be a neutered family pet/gun dog. Please email for more information.
Bentley will be available for a new home in December 2019. He will be 3 years old. I am not thrilled about the decision to not keep him in my breeding program but two things have made me decide to rehome, one is, he hates the show ring and I really want a good chocolate male to show. The field is a different story. When it comes to retrieving, he will do that for you all day, and he loves to swim. He has never actually been hunted but has had quite a bit of formal hunter/retriever training so he is well on his way to making a great gun dog.
The second reason for deciding to rehome him is, even if he did like the show ring, he is just slightly under the height standard. Though many dogs can do just fine in the show ring that are above or below the standard, his lack of love for the show ring cuts it for him. He does have AKC points so he is show quality and would continue to be a great asset to a breeding program but in my opinion, is not finishable in the show ring. So I will offer him as either a pet or a stud dog. His pricing will depend on whether he will be used as a sire or if he will be a neutered family pet dog.
